Safety Standard

User Protection Agreement

Welcome to Hawld. This agreement outlines the rules of payments and explains exactly how we protect both Buyers and Sellers from online fraud, scams, and unpaid work. By initiating or accepting a deal on our platform, you agree to these protection rules.

1. The Secure Vault Guarantee

Hawld acts as an independent digital safety net. When a Buyer funds a transaction, the money is securely locked in our platform vault.

For Buyers: The Seller cannot access your money until you receive exactly what was promised and explicitly approve the release.

For Sellers: You never have to start working without proof of funds. Because the money is locked in the vault, your payment is guaranteed as long as you deliver the agreed-upon work on time.

2. Transaction Rules & Workflow

To ensure total protection, all deals must strictly follow this lifecycle:

A. Funding the Deal Once a Seller accepts a deal, the Buyer must click Pay Now to fund it. The transaction is not active, and the Seller should not begin work, until the funds are successfully locked with Hawld.
B. Locking the Deadline After the vault is funded, both parties must propose and accept a delivery deadline. Crucial Rule: Once the deadline is Accepted by both parties, the countdown timer begins, and the Buyer can no longer unilaterally cancel the deal.
C. Delivery & Approval The Seller must click Submit Product and deliver the work before the deadline expires. If the Buyer is 100% satisfied, they must click Release to instantly settle the funds to the Seller’s bank account. If the deadline expires and the Seller has not submitted the product, the Buyer is entitled to claim an immediate, full refund.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

We enforce strict rules around cancellations to prevent abuse:

Before the Deadline is Set: Either party can cancel the transaction. The deal is aborted, and the Buyer is fully refunded.

During Active Work (Timer is Ticking): The Seller may cancel at any time if they cannot fulfill the order, resulting in an automatic refund to the Buyer. The Buyer cannot cancel during this phase to protect the Seller's effort.

Mutual Cancellation (After Submission): Once the product is submitted, if the Buyer wishes to reject it and cancel, they must use the Request Cancel feature. The Seller must Approve this request for the refund to be issued. If the Seller rejects the cancellation request, either party may then click the Dispute button to call in a Moderator.

4. The Dispute Resolution Process

If a disagreement occurs that cannot be resolved through Mutual Cancellation, either party can click Dispute.

Admin Review: The Hawld Moderation Team will step in to manually review the case. We will examine the original terms, the submitted product, and all in-platform chat logs.

Final Verdict: The Hawld Admin will make a binding decision to either release the funds to the Seller or refund the Buyer. This decision is final.

5. Prohibited Actions (Voiding Your Protection)

To maintain your protection under this agreement, you must follow these rules:

  • No Outside Payments: You must never request or send partial payments outside of the Hawld platform.
  • Keep Communications Inside Hawld: In the event of a Dispute, our admins can only review evidence contained within our secure chat logs. If you negotiate or agree to terms via external apps (like WhatsApp or email), we cannot verify them, and you risk losing your protection.
